[Notice of service operation status] Status update on UCS Service Outage

Dear RICOH Unified Communication System Customers:

We apologize for your inconvenience occurred by Ricoh Unified Communication System (UCS) Service Outage.
Here we would like to share with you symptom, cause and countermeasure.

[Service Outage Period]
UK (GMT) 06/11/15 06:25 - 06/11/15 07:25
USA (EST) (GMT-5) 06/11/15 01:25 - 06/11/15 02:25
Singapore (GMT+8) 06/11/15 14:25 - 06/11/15 15:25
Japan (GMT+9) 06/11/15 15:25 - 06/11/15 16:25

[Symptom]
UCS service was not available during the above mentioned time.
1) New Meetings were not able to start
2) In progress meetings were disconnected

[Cause]
UCS network was temporary interrupted for short period of time and recovered right after.
During the interruption, UCS users reconnected to UCS service simultaneously and
data process delay occurred due to UCS server overload.

[Countermeasure]
Counter action will be taken on Tuesday, 16th June.
UCS service on operation and will not be stopped during the time counter action is taken.
