[Notice of service operation status] [Resolved] Status update on UCS Service Outage

Dear RICOH Unified Communication System Customers:

We apologize for your inconvenience occurred by Ricoh Unified Communication System (UCS) Service Outage.
Here we would like to share with you symptom, cause and countermeasure.

[Service Outage Period]
USA (GMT-4) 08/12/15 23:16 - 08/13/15 13:45
UK (GMT+1) 08/13/15 04:16 - 08/13/15 18:45
Singapore (GMT+8) 08/13/15 11:16 - 08/14/15 01:45
Japan (GMT+9) 08/13/15 12:16 - 08/14/15 02:45

[Symptom]
UCS service was not available during the above mentioned time.
1) New Meetings were not able to start from outside of Japan
2) Unable to log-in to UCS service from outside of Japan

[Cause]
On Aug. 13, network configuration in UCS data center was changed, however, it was mis-configured.
Because of this, network communication to UCS data center could not be established from outside of Japan,
and thus UCS service was not available during the above period.

[Countermeasure]
Configuration was corrected after recognition of the service outage.
Currently the service was already recovered and is operating normally.
